Artist's Comments

This I think took me 8hrs, it could've been more I'm not sure. Done with charcoal and drawn from a photo reference, the reference used was a portrait taken by Steve McCurry (National Geographic photojournalist).
I quite like how this one turned out, though there was much reworking of his face and head structure.
